Agapi Gessesse is an award-winning change-maker, who was named one of 2020’s top black women to watch in Canada. She serves as the Executive Director of CEE Centre for Young Black Professionals in Toronto and has captivated audiences on local and national levels, serving as a commentator on anti-black racism, workforce development, and youth engagement. Agapi’s accomplishments and practical impact continue to flourish. The CEE Centre for Young Black Professionals is a charity dedicated to addressing economic and social barriers affecting black youth ages 14 and over. Our activities are focused on youth workforce development, education, and advocacy to influence systems and policy. They are committed to ensuring that we achieve our vision for a society and economy in which Black youth achieve economic stability and a stronger knowledge of themselves and their potential and contribute to building prosperous communities.
